I am an assistant professor of political science at Aarhus University, Denmark. I research and teach authoritarianism, democratization, elections, and women in politics with a substantial focus on electoral manipulation and violence and a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
From 2022-2026, I am the PI of a project on the effect of electoral manipulation on women in politics in Africa (sponsored by the Danish Research Council, DFF) I am also a mother of four young children in the midst of a pandemic and currently work part time. |
